True icon of BIAVA. It is the product that, thanks to its uniqueness and quality, made us known even beyond national borders, to the point of obtaining recognition from the Lombardy Region as “Ambassadors of Lombard wine in the world”.
It is a sweet precious wine obtained from the homonymous native vine known as a rarity since 1300.
The grapes harvested at the beginning of October must pass a maniacal and rigorous selection before being chosen for the drying phase, which takes place without forcing, in a natural way, for about 45/60 days.
The maceration in contact with the skins lasts no less than 18 days and once the slow and difficult fermentation has been drawn off, it continues for about a month until it reaches an alcohol content of over 15% vol. The residual sugar of about 80 gr./l. gives the typical mildly sweet sensation.
In this wine everything is extraordinary, starting with the colour, one of the most intense ruby tones in the wine scene. Enchanting on the nose, it is captivating, aromatic and powerful at the same time, with hints that go from fruity (cherry, citrus, plum jam), to spicy (sage, rosemary, incense) with final balsamic notes. In the mouth it tastes full, mighty fresh, with a gentle sweet note, perfectly balanced by a pleasant acidity that keep away any cloying sensation. Finally, an elegant note of almond gives it endless duration and persistence.
Its most successful combination is with dry pastry; it sounds interesting with blue cheeses, accompanied by a sweet note of honey or dark chocolate; but for its uniqueness we believe it can express its best drank alone, perfectly reflecting the lucky expression by Luigi Veronelli, “ A WINE FOR MEDITATION”.
Dry pastries, dark chocolate, blue cheeses… Best choice: drink it alone in a large glass accompanied by pleasant company.

This nectar is the rare and precious fruit of ancient traditions, made up of knowledge handed down from generation to generation and meticulous care. It is obtained from Moscato Giallo and Moscato di Scanzo grapes which are strictly dried outdoors for a few months and for this reason containing extremely low yields. The aromaticity of the vines that make up the blend provide profound impact and strong personality, but the clear diversity between them (white and red vines together) offers a wide range of sensations, hard to find in a single vine wine.
Golden yellow in colour, it turns to amber over time. The nose appears full, exuberant and intense; the sensations of jam, honey, exotic fruits, citrus and spicy notes chase each other overlapping as our nose perceives them. In the mouth it tastes fresh at first, while the sweet, pleasant and polite sensation that follows gives fullness and finesse at the same time.
A great dessert wine, it can be accompanied by fois gras, goat cheeses and small pastries, even if also on its own it can give us immense pleasure, its best.
Very pleasant aromatic raisin wine obtained from the Moscato Giallo grape left to dry for a few months on outdoor racks. The grapes are vinified around February and left to macerate on the skins for only 24 hours. Fermentation proceeds slowly until it stops naturally when alcoholic grades reach around 15.0% vol, thus maintaining a natural residual sugar of about 50 gr /l. The result is a sweet wine, with a beautiful golden yellow colour. On the nose the typical, unmistakable, aromatic sensation of Moscato with the addition of fruity hints reminiscent of apricot, peach and honey, vanilla. In the mouth it is fresh, fine and elegant; it strikes above all for the good acidity which gives fragrance, pleasantness and freshness and which balances well with the residual sugar.
Excellent wine to be combined with dry pastries, better if with almonds; it is a good match also with cheeses, preferably slightly blue ones.
Pleasant red wine with a typical personality due to the Bordeaux taste. It is obtained from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes harvested one week apart and vinified separately. The mix up takes place after about 2 years and then it rigorously refines in steel tanks.
Brilliant limpid colour, an intense ruby red with light garnet hues. Complex fruity bouquet with hints of plum, blackberry and cherry. Full flavour, fascinating with elegant and velvety tannins, it leaves pleasant sensations on the palate.
Classic wine. ideal with meats such as sliced beef or pepper fillet. Very pleasant companion with medium-aged cheeses or cured meats, in particular those of Bergamo tradition.
Red wine of great structure obtained from the best Cabernet grapes and in a small part Merlot rigorously sorted and stored in the loft for a short drying, to increase its concentration. Vinified in steel tanks with long macerations, the vines of the blend are then aged separately in small oak barrels for a period of about 2 years. The subsequent mixture is the result of the company’s experience and gives rise to the definitive cuvée according to the optimal percentages. After bottling, the wine rests in the cellar for a minimum of six months before being marketed.
Wine that knows how to express power and elegance at the same time, endowed with ruby red colour of great intensity; on the nose very clear hints of red fruits, with the predominance of blackberry and plum, while delicate spicy sensations give it a touch of rare elegance. In the mouth it is full, fresh and harmonious for a very long, mighty and persistent texture.
Great companion for red meats, stews and game.
Surprisingly aromatic and fresh wine obtained from Moscato di Scanzo grapes vinified without drying, with fast macerations. After racking, the grapes must ferment until the complete exhaustion of sugars makes it DRY. The maturation of about 2 years takes place in concrete barrels and it is expected to refine for three months in bottle before marketing. A unique product, with a crystalline ruby red colour with evident violet notes; the nose clearly perceives all the distinctive aromatic scents of the Moscato di Scanzo grapes such as rose, sage, sweet cherry, leather, balsamic notes and spicy hints. The incredible intensity of the scent is then found in the mouth where the great freshness mainly due to malic sensations balances very well with the richness of tannins, giving great personality and complexity to the wine. Very long-lasting in the mouth, it leaves a pleasantly rare scent on the palate.
Excellent as an accompaniment to cold cuts, fat cheeses, fish soups and raw seafood.
White, with an intense and distinctive aroma. The aromatic scents of Moscato di Scanzo give this grappa uniqueness and finesse, making it possible the inclusion in the precious grape variety.
Sweet on the palate and with an exceptionally light spicy note
Smooth and elegant grappa obtained with a discontinuous system in a bain-marie tank distilling yellow passito. Muscat pomace. It has a deep amber colour with a rich, ethereal scent with important notes of honey, toasted vanilla and candied fruit. Warm and enveloping in the mouth but with great body and temperament.
